Assessment & Taxation

Taxes are levied in August for the current year, and are due December 31; meaning the 2026 taxes are levied in August 2026 and due by December 31, 2026.

Did you know?

  • the RM offers a 4% discount when you pay by August 31
  • The amount you pay in tax goes to both Municipal taxes and Education Taxes? Your tax notice will have a column for 'Taxing Authority' that includes:
    • 100 - Muni: this is municipal tax amount
    • 200 - #209 or 204 - #140: these are the education tax amounts
  • Every 4 years, properties in Saskatchewan, including the RM of Estevan, go through a re-assessment
