Applicants must possess the following qualifications:
· Must hold a minimum valid Class 5 driver’s license
· Experience operating and maintaining tractors and mowers and in possession of Power Mobile Equipment certification
· Mechanical abilities would be an asset
· Ability to respectfully deal with members of the public and co-workers to develop and maintain positive work relationships
· Attention to detail to record accurate work reports
· Willing to perform various tasks as assigned by the Manager of Public Works
Duties shall commence asap. An exact start date will be negotiated with the successful applicant. The temporary seasonal position will likely run into September or as weather and work permits.
The Municipality offers a competitive wage to be paid in accordance with qualifications and experience.
