Notice of Zoning Bylaw Amendment

Public notice is hereby given that the Council of the Rural Municipality of Estevan No.5,
intends to adopt a bylaw under The Planning and Development Act, 2007 to amend Bylaw 5-2014 known as the Zoning Bylaw.
Intent: The proposed bylaw will rezone proposed Parcels B and J in SE 18-2-7 W2 from High Profile Commercial/Light Industrial (HPCI) to Agricultural Resource (AR).
Affected Land: The affected land is legally described as part of the
SE 18-2-7 W2 shown on a plan of proposed subdivision dated November 7th, 2025 and signed by C. Rogers, S.L.S. as shown within the bold dashed line on the map adjacent.
Reason:The R.M. received an application request from the landowner which allows for the appropriate zoning which allows for property boundary adjustments under the current Zoning Bylaw 5-2014.
Public Inspection: Any person may inspect the proposed bylaw at the R.M. of Estevan Municipal Office at #1, 322 – 4th Street, Estevan, Saskatchewan between 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays. Copies are available at cost.
Public Hearing:
Council will hold a public hearing to receive any written or verbal submissions on the proposed discretionary use application at 11:00 AM (local time) on January 14, 2026 in the Council Chambers of the RM of Estevan No. 5, #1-322 4th Street, Estevan, Saskatchewan. Written submissions will be presented to Council and can be delivered to the RM office, or emailed at administrator@rmestevan.ca.
