Notice of Discretionary Use Application

Pursuant to Section 55 of the Planning and Development Act, 2007, the Council of the Rural Municipality of Estevan No. 5, gives notice that a discretionary use application has been received and the details are as follows:
DISCRETIONARY USE:
SHOP OR GARAGE FOR STORAGE AS A PRINCIPAL USE
PARCEL A LOCATED IN THE NW 32-3-9-W2
Intended Discretionary Use:
The above noted property, which is indicated in red, is being subdivided. Because a shop or garage for storage as a principal use is a discretionary use in the Agricultural Resource District the development is required to apply for a development permit to maintain compliance with the RM of Estevan’s Zoning Bylaw.
Public Hearing:
Council will hold a public hearing to receive any written or verbal submissions on the proposed discretionary use application on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. (local time) in the Council Chambers of the RM of Estevan No. 5, 1-322 4th Street, Estevan, Saskatchewan. Written submissions will be presented to Council and can be delivered in to the RM office, or emailed to the following address: administrator@rmestevan.ca.
