Notice of Discretionary Use

Pursuant to Section 55 of the Planning and Development Act, 2007, the Council of the Rural Municipality of Estevan No. 5, gives notice that a discretionary use application has been received and the details are as follows:


DISCRETIONARY USE:

AGGREGATE RESOURCE EXTRACTION, STORAGE & PROCESSING

PARCEL B IN SE 18-02-07-W2


Intended Discretionary Use:

The above noted property, which is indicated in red, was recently rezoned to Agricultural Resource (AR) District. To maintain compliance with the RM of Estevan’s Zoning Bylaw, the development is required to apply for a development permit as Aggregate Resource Extraction, Storage and Processing is a discretionary use in the AR District.


Public Hearing:

Council will hold a public hearing to receive any written or verbal submissions on the proposed discretionary use application on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. (local time) in the Council Chambers of the RM of Estevan No. 5, #1-322 4th Street, Estevan, Saskatchewan. Written submissions will be presented to Council and can be delivered in to the RM office, or emailed to the following address: administrator@rmestevan.ca.
