PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT:

Expansion of a Commercial Greenhouse located at NW 34-1-7-W2 EXT 2.
Please be advised that the RM of Estevan has received a development permit application for a Discretionary Use at the above-noted land location within the Agricultural Resource District. The Planning and Development Act, 2007, legislates that Municipalities must notify adjacent landowners or affected persons when a discretionary development permit is applied for.
The proposed Greenhouse Expansion is being developed for the purpose of enlarging the current work area and allow for cooler/freezer units to store seedlings and seeds and to extend the life of an existing building.
Council will hold a public hearing to receive any written or verbal submissions on the proposed discretionary use on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 11:10 AM in the Council Chambers of the RM of Estevan No.5, 1 - 322 4th Street, Estevan, Saskatchewan. Written submissions should be submitted by January 13th and will be presented to Council and can be delivered to the RM office in person or emailed to administrator@rmestevan.ca.
