Seasonal Public Works Operator

With Potential for Full-Time Permanent Employment

Join a great team at our new location! The Rural Municipality of Estevan No. 5 is currently accepting applications for the services of a seasonal public works operator with potential for a permanent full-time position for the right candidate.

As a member of the Public Works Crew, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties under the direct supervision of the Manager of Public Works. Duties may include but are not limited to: mowing ditches/rights-of-way, erecting signs, assisting with minor maintenance and equipment repairs, shop and yard maintenance, etc. Preference will be given to applicants with experience and skills in the operation and maintenance of equipment including but not limited to: tractor/mower, loader, tandem gravel truck and skid-steer.  A minimum Class 5 driver’s license is required. Grader operating experience and/or a Class 1A driver’s license would be considered an asset.

This is a seasonal position (April to October) dependent on weather and workload.  The RM is offering the possibility of permanent full-time employment for an individual with the appropriate qualifications and skills.
